Electronic
media nowadays become most popular for readers because it is really fast in
spreading news. The effectiveness of electronic media such as online journalism
has make blogs as a medium for journalist to publish their story instead of online
newspaper. For sure any voice can be heard through this medium.
We can
see a lot of blogs published a story about something that we can never see in the
mainstream media. It is because this type of story never got a chance to be published
in mainstream media. Mainstream media that have been control by government are
not suitable for people from the other side especially the opposition party
followers. People need to know the entire incident that happen in the country and
we can’t get all the information about it in mainstream media.
Online journalism
is the best medium for these people so that their dissident voice can be heard
and be published without any barriers from the government. It is believed that the
followers of the dissident voice only trust online media to get the information.
For sure online journalism can be part of people’s voice from the root. Through
this medium, they can disseminate news from their very own perception so that people
can think wisely before make a decision.
It should
not be a big deal if radical peoples use online media as their medium to spread
their words.
I think malaysia should learn on how to be a REAL democratic nation. With the winning of Barisan Nasional for the 13th time last night (or should i say a few hours ago), i think it's time for malaysia's mainstream media to change. Stop airing/publishing one-sided political agendas. People are getting smarter and wiser. Please do not fool the rakyat. I wish Dato' Seri Najib Razak will learn from his mistakes. Stop making false accusation towards the opposition parties and give them chances to speak up for themselves. If this trend continues in malaysia, people will stop reading local newspapers and stop watching government sponsored channels. Please dont let our local mainstream media wither. News on local television stations have now becoming the medium for the government for the general election campaigns. Please be truthful to the rakyat. We the rakyat have nothing against the government if they could be really really truthful to us.
